Need a torchlight mount on your bicycle?

April 10th, 2010 (05:20 am)

Have you ever wanted a powerful flashlight to shine your way through the danger when you are mountain biking? Frustrated that some of the torches are not bring enough? Or maybe even that torch holder/torch you have mounted on your MTB is not strong/rugged/bright enough.

We people at W-torch have the solution for you!

Since we are cyclists ourselves, we understand the fustration of a dimly lighted road/trail. Heres our solution to you.

We have new torchlight holders for sale!

They are rugged in design, durable in any weather conditions, and most important of all, it holds our w-torch in place very well!

It has 2 velcro straps on a rubber surface, one to mount to your bike's handlebar, the other to the torch. The rubber surface keeps it from slipping either from the torch, or on the handlebar, therefore giving you a piece of mind off your ride.

Enough of talking. here are some of the pictures of the torch mounted to the bike and in action!

April 8th, 2010 (01:59 pm)

Why so expensive you ask? That is because it is retailing at a shop, and the colour is *ahem*, may i say, Ugly!

Although it is, i think, almost or maybe, exactly the same as our w-torch, But the colour is a total turn off.

And NO! We are not selling it for that price. Get it from us for ONLY $25

I'll just let the pictures speak for itself.

Torch comparision: Maglite VS W-torch

March 28th, 2010 (07:07 pm)

(Right)Maglite with 3*D Sized batteries. (Left) P4 Cree by W-torch with 3*AAA batteries.

From a selection of a Popular Maglite with similar Intensity and Flood-to-Throw Functions, and just by comparing the size, you can immediately see the difference, the P4 Cree Torch is so much smaller, which in turn means that its so much more portable!

Lets do some price comparison here,
  • A Packet of two(2) D sized batteries would cost somewhere between $5-$8 SGD.
  • A Packet of four(4) 3*AAA batteries would cost somewhere between $1-$3 SGD.
Which means in the long run, you not only save on batteries, you also save a hole in your pocket!

PS. Light provided to take the picture of the torches are provided by another P4 Cree Torch in full flood mode.

Distance: Approx 50-60M.

Won't be needing to say much here, be it size, or light intensity, our P4 Cree Torch wins hands down. I'll just let the picture speak for itself.

Sick and tired of lousy torches?

March 23rd, 2010 (03:21 am)

Well, I'm pretty sure that we have all been in a tricky situation, whereby you really need a powerful torch to be able to find or see stuff.

I myself, as a ex-marine supervisor, understand that inadequate lighting can be really irritating. As my job requires me to be onboard most of the time to be a QC (Quality Control) personnel, i knew i had to have a personal light with me. Although there were lights all over a newly built ship,
